We recently did a demo trial with a bone-anchored hearing device for one of our patient’s. We were grateful to have a member of Oticon Medical come out to help with the fitting. Our patient was fit with the bone-anchored device for her right side and a new BTE hearing aid for her left side. The trial of the BAHA device was done using a headband worn around the patient’s head. The patient was also fit with a demo BTE hearing device for her left side. Both devices were programmed to our patient’s hearing loss, we discussed compatible accessories and she was able to go home with both devices to test it out in the real world.
